The Sony FS7-II is the second generation of the Sony FS7 and the improvements have everyone here talking. The Electronic Variable ND is one of them. Sony’s Electronic Variable ND maintains optimum exposure without scarificing any other parameters. You can lock in your aperture and shutter while making subtle changes when adjusting for changing light conditions. The new locking E-mount allows for a more secure lock when using heavier PL mount lenses as as well B4 ENG lenses. There have also been improvements to the viewfinder and the ergonomics of the camera in handheld mode. We really liked the first generation and now this second generation has us even more excited.
